Bose launches Cinemate 15 soundbar and Solo 15 soundbase
Bose is jumping back into the TV audio market with two new home entertainment products.
Promising improved performance over the earlier Bose Solo TV Sound System, the new Solo 15 TV Sound System (pictured above) boasts a bigger footprint (62.8 x 35.6 x 7.6cm) to accomodate larger screens up to 50in. The unit employs five drivers, with a dedicated centre channel for improved dialogue intelligibility, as well as digital signal processing technology to adjust and optimise the sound at any volume level.
Meanwhile, the dinky Bose CineMate 15 soundbar (pictured below) measures just 30.5 x 7x 8.5cm and features four proprietary drives in a new-for-Bose configuration – two in the front and one on each side. It also ships with a wired Acoustimass module (read: subwoofer) and a universal remote that can be programmed to take control of other 'common' AV devices, including TVs, Blu-ray players and set-top boxes.
The Bose Solo 15 TV Sound System and CineMate 15 are both available now from bose.co.uk and authorised dealers, priced around £400 and £550 respectively.
Home Cinema Choice #351 is on sale now, featuring: Samsung S95D flagship OLED TV; Ascendo loudspeakers; Pioneer VSA-LX805 AV receiver; UST projector roundup; 2024’s summer movies; Conan 4K; and more
