The baby woofer of the new F3 range is the F3-8, which sells for just £300. This has an 8in front-firing driver and a 300W (RMS) Class D amplifier. The step-up F3-10 uses a 10in woofer and 335W power plant, and is priced at £400. The 12in F3-12 (£600) increases onboard power to 370W.

Fyne audio says its drivers 'major on deep bass with fast transient attack. The cone material is formed with a unique mix of fibres to create a light and stiff piston, with rubber roll surround and deep coil assembly affording long throw excursion and high power handling.'

All three of the subs are down-ported for bass tuning, with the F3-12 rated to reach 28Hz. Onboard DSP enables automatic dynamic range management, overload protection and 
a Bass Boost function. Use the latter for a +3dB lift 'through critical movie LFE frequencies' when spinning your Blu-ray blockbusters.
