Sky hit Mare of Easttown debuts on digital platforms, Blu-ray release still TBA
The seven-part limited series starring Kate Winslet as a smalltown police detective has aired weekly since April 18, earning plaudits from critics for its mixture of murder mystery and detailed character study.
Mare of Easttown is now available to download – either as a full series or individual episodes – from VOD services including Amazon Prime Video, iTunes and Google Play Store.
The show, which is tipped for success at this year's Emmy Awards, has yet to be confirmed for a Blu-ray release in either the US or the UK – although Blu-ray.com does have it listed for a September 20 release in Scandinavian markets through distributor SF Studios.
It's likely a UK disc release will come from HBO stablemate Warner Bros, although that wasn't the case with fellow HBO limited series Chernobyl, which was picked up for Blu-ray by Acorn Media.
Home Cinema Choice #351 is on sale now, featuring: Samsung S95D flagship OLED TV; Ascendo loudspeakers; Pioneer VSA-LX805 AV receiver; UST projector roundup; 2024’s summer movies; Conan 4K; and more
