We put the BBC's latest big budget spy series under surveillance...

The brainchild of Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files) and produced by the team behind the hit BBC show Spooks, there were high expectations for this new series.  Unfortunately, despite a great central performance from Melissa George, the storyline gets so wrapped up in knots that it rapidly leaves believability far behind.

Curiously, this three-disc UK set features the US edit of the series, complete with a 'Cinemax Original Series' logo and a little extra 'rumpy-pumpy'. Detailed AVC 1.78:1 1080p encodes and lively DTS-HD MA 5.1 mixes at least ensure it looks and sounds good on Blu-ray. The final disc also houses nine deleted scenes.
