Now TV launches new Sky Sports Week Pass
The Sky Sports Week Pass launches today at an introductory price of £10.99 (pricing will change from November 27, although Sky hasn't yet confirmed what it will rise to), bringing Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and Sky Sports F1, plus the newly relaunched Sky Sports News HQ and new European football-centric Sky Sports 5, which aims to show upto 600 live games a season culled from qualifiers for UEFA Euro 2016, UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Copa del Rey, Coppa Italia and Eredivisie.
The pass will only be available to purchase via the Now TV website at launch. It will be accessible via all Now TV devices (including the dedicated Now TV box, Roku media streamers, Xbox/Xbox One, PS3/PS4 and LG Smart TVs) except Apple TV.
Says Now TV's director Gidon Katz: 'With the start of the football season just days away, this is a great time to be giving sports fans even more choice. We know our sports fans are hungry for more flexibility... and the new Sky Sports Week Pass offers just that.'
The existing Sky Sports Day Pass is also having its price slashed to £6.99 until November 27.
Sky has also annoucned that Sky Sports 4 will be rebranded to Sky Sports Ryder Cup for the duration of the Europe v America golf tournament this September.
