Pioneer announces five new AV receivers
Pioneer is the latest manufacturer to jump on the Dolby Atmos bandwagon announcing five new AV receivers, three of which will support the format.
The SC-LX58 (£1,399) arrives in August, followed by the SC-LX78 (£1,699) and flagship SC-LX88 (£2,199, pictured) in September. All three are 9-channel designs and according to Pioneer 'can be enabled for Dolby Atmos playback through a firmware update later this Summer'.
The other two models announced today, the SC-1244 (£799) and SC-2024 (£949), are both 7-channel designs and will be available from July.
