Watch the first Spider-Man: Far From Home teaser

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first teaser for upcoming superhero sequel Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Potentially giving fans their first look at the post-Avengers: Endgame state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Far from Home finds Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and his school chums on a European vacation. Sadly, as shown in the teaser, any thoughts of a relaxing break are put on hold when Peter is co-opted by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to help bring down a quartet of super-powered villains. The teaser also gives us our first look at Spidey's snazzy new stealth suit and Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio – a figure that comic book readers will be very familiar with.

Spider-Man: Far from Home swings into UK cinemas on July 5.
