British audio brand Orbitsound has added another soundbar to its product lineup in the shape of the Orbitsound BAR A60. Selling for £400, it will be available exclusively from Currys PC World.

Orbitsound declares the new bar, which is supplied with a wireless active subwoofer, takes aim at 'consumers who want to enjoy premium sound and add an eye-catching design to their TV setup.' 

As with other Orbitsound gear, the BAR A60 employs a wood construction and features the company's airSOUND technology, where side-mounted drivers combine with front-firers to work to elmininate the traditional stereo sweetspot.

The A60 measures a compact 69cm wide and 7.4cm high. Connections include aptX Bluetooth for wireless music streaming, NFC, optical digital audio input and a 3.5mm audio jack. Other features include TV remote learning and wall-mounting capability.

The soundbar joins the larger BAR A70, BASE SB60 soundbase and portable Spaced 360 speaker in Orbitsound's stable.
