Released in 1974, Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a one-of-a-kind flick; a lightning-in-a-bottle moment of movie madness that none of its creators have ever come close to recapturing.

Considering that Joel and Ethan Coen's quirky crime caper Fargo remains one of the best-loved movies of the 1990s, it's understandable that many were wary of this belated televisual take on the material.

A cursory glance might suggest that the AVR-X4100W looks like any other receiver released from the Denon stable over the past decade. However, that notion couldn’t be further from the truth. While the basic form factor promises comfy familiarity, everything from feature set to UI has been dramatically overhauled. This is an AVR ripped from the science labs of tomorrow, an AV hub in a Starfleet uniform.

Taking its cues (and title) from one of the most popular comic book storylines, …Days of Future Past sees director Bryan Singer returning to the franchise in order to set things straight. Presumably once and for all.

Visually beautiful and refreshingly accessible, DriveClub is an automotive sim with an arcade bent, and as such it’s a tad more fun than Forza. You start with a hot hatch and work your way up to better wheels. Racing solo, progressing from Rookie to Legend, takes some time to unlock the best cars – in multiplayer mode, you’ll make far faster progress.
