Sky has launched a new system of products that looks set to appeal to devoted telly addicts and 4K enthusiasts. Dubbed Sky Q, it includes two flavours of main set-top box, multiroom box and hub. Hardware is scheduled to surface early next year, where it will sit alongside Sky+ and Now TV products in the satcaster's stable.

Had he still been with us, Frank Sinatra would have been celebrating his 100th birthday this December, and we can't think of a better way of marking Ol' Blue Eyes' centennial than by kicking back and watching some of his classic movies on Blu-ray. Alfonso Cuaron's modern sci-fi masterpiece Gravity returns to Blu-ray on October 12 in a new two-disc Special Edition, courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. In addition to all of the features from the original Blu-ray platter, the new Special Edition release adds a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, as well as a Gravity: Silent Space viewing option that allows you to experience the film without music, a Looking to the Stars: The Evolution of Space featurette exploring the depiction of space in movies and a Sandra's Birthday Wish on-set video.

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation – the fifth movie in the stunt-packed Tom Cruise franchise – will launch on Blu-ray on December 7 and offer a Dolby Atmos soundmix. Considering how much we enjoyed the audio track on the previous flick ...Ghost Protocol, this is very good news indeed.

HBO has confirmed that it will be re-releasing the first two seasons of the hit fantasy drama Game of Thrones in the UK as limited edition Blu-ray Steelbooks on October 26. In addition to all of the content included in the original boxsets, these new releases will also include upgraded Dolby Atmos soundtracks, making the show the first TV series to be released on Blu-ray with the next-gen sound format. The new Steelbooks also feature exclusive cover art designed by the company responsible for the show's iconic opening credits.
