On the eve of the release of Batman V Superman, the world’s finest collection of classic DC comic books was unveiled in London, and Home Cinema Choice was invited along for a private viewing. Dubbed The Impossible Collection, it comprises over 1,000 key titles from the Gold and Silver age of DC, and includes not one but two high-quality copies of Action Comics 1 (graded 9.0), the first appearance of Superman, as well as Detective 27, featuring the debut of the Dark Knight.

The Sony HT-RT5 soundbar is a bit of an odd one. It's a soundbar accompanied not only by a subwoofer but also two wireless surround speakers. The huge success of soundbars has been based on people's distaste for multiple boxes – those who fell out of love with all-in-one systems. Now the clutter is piling up again. Good news for quality-obsessed home cinema fans – The Criterion Collection has today announced that it will be releasing Blu-rays in the UK. Previously, the label, which started life in the 1980s and released the first ever audio commentary on its 1984 Laserdisc release of King Kong, has been US/Canada-only, with releases Region A locked.
